Black Truffle, also known as Tuber melanosporum, graded as Extra Class according to the Australian Truffle Grading Standard.
Truffle in this class is quite rare indeed and are of the highest quality for both consumption and presentation.
They must be whole with a roundish shape that is free from crevices and defects with the exception of a small ‘graders cut’ to allow buyers to view the gleba (flesh).
They will be mature with a good aroma, well-defined marbling and black gleba (flesh) which is firm to the touch.
Based on your pre-order amount, we will do our very best to fulfill your order but the actual weight is dependent on the harvesting and may not exactly match what you request.
The final price will calculated on the day of delivery and you will be issued with a new invoice should anything be different.
